A handful of customers complained about mechanical issues after filling up last Friday at the Exxon Express at 1400 West Central Texas Expressway, manager C.P. Paudel said.
Paudel says he closed down the gas pumps immediately after receiving the complaints Saturday.
On Sunday a technician cleared the pumps, he said, and on Monday everything was back to normal.
Water in gasoline can cause a sudden change in a vehicle’s performance including hesitation and sputtering.
