Troopers with Virginia State Police say on Dec. 23, about a dozen vehicles filled up their tanks at the Exxon gas station. Troopers say there was water in the regular gas.
"As soon as he got off the ramp, he could see a bunch of people broken down and he was like what's going on? He got maybe a quarter of a mile up the road and our car just shut off completely," said Christian.
Troopers say after filling up, most of the vehicles only made it about 1 or 2 miles down the road, before they started having issues and the drivers were forced to pull over.
