A sample that Patrick’s mechanic pulled from her tank revealed there was roughly 95 percent water in the fuel. Her bill is over 600 dollars.
Christian’s fuel looked similar. She has not received her bill yet.
While the gas station is working to fix the problem, the drivers have many questions moving forward.
“I'm really worried about what effects it will have on my vehicle long term,” said Christian who is a regular. “I've never had this issue before.”
“But I also want someone to help retrieve this out of pocket expense that no one else is going to cover,” said Patrick.
