CHENNAI: As if braving the floods wasn’t enough, people in the city may soon have to grapple with a fuel shortage. An acute shortage is likely to strike Chennai shortly, as some Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) fuel stations in the city have started drying up - a direct result of the torrential rains that have inundated the oil major’s Korrukupet terminal, disrupting supplies to bunks.  Senior IOC officials have said that steps are being taken to drain the rain water that has inundated the Korrukupet terminal, in a bid to ensure that the fuel is not contaminated
