When they left, their vehicle experienced a power failure and was stopped on the shoulder of the highway.

Before long, a man in a tow truck approached and offered assistance.

The driver said no, instead choosing to contact a roadside assistance company.

It was later determined that the fuel in the vehicle had been contaminated in some way.
