IIt has to do with water somehow mixing in with the gasoline. The combination can shut down a vehicle completely KWQC has learned that it happened to close to a dozen customers last week after getting gas at 69th Avenue and 27th Street in Moline. One service shop representative at Courtesy KIA who did some of the repairs tells us normally gasoline has less than one percent water in it. But with this he's never seen so much water pulled out of a gas tank before

...a problem like this can require between 500 and one thousand dollars in work or more.
